When should I book my airport transfers?

With summer 2023 fast approaching, many of us will be going into holiday mode. Some may now be thinking about their return airport transfers, while those who are not tied to school holidays may be planning to jet off before school summer holidays, to take advantage of the lower term-time holiday prices.

With all this in mind, customers often ask us how far in advance they should book their airport transfers. They are not sure whether they can order their airport taxi on the day, or whether they need to book a day, a week or a month ahead. The reality is that, the further in advance you reserve your cab, the more options you give yourself and the more likely you are to be able to make the booking you want, especially if you will need a 24-hour taxi for a very early or late flight, when public transport is not available.

Additionally, if there is a particular driver you like to do your airport runs, an early booking is always advisable.

Even if your departure or arrival is during the day, advance reservations are especially worthwhile during busy times – such as the late summer period.
